Momentum was a fairly large raiding guild consisting of Two 10 man naxx teams. A close nit guild where someone was either related or RL friends with another member like all guilds found itself in a pickle when raid loot distribution came around.
I won't bother naming names but needless to say when a popular guild member doesnt get a particular upgrade due to being outrolled or a particular item was given to another guildie due to it being a more significant upgrade social conflict is sure to follow.
Ultimatly The GM was forced to give a particular item to a popular guildie and in the process had several members rage quit only to have the guildie who was given the item quit along with all her social contacts an hour later.
Thus Selected was born and Momentum was betrayed!
As members picked their sides Momentum guildies were often whispered by Selected officers offering guild invites. Deciding enough was enough the GM of Momentum laid the guild to rest and re-established a new guild to start a clean slate called Betrayed.
Betrayed
Betrayed is currently a 10 man raiding guild. We clear toc in an hour or so and are currently doing hard modes in ulduar and attempting yogg. We have completed Icecrown citadel. We are hoping to get our 2nd 10 man team to the same progression as the first team. We also are going to start full guild 25 mans when we gather a few more committed members. Trisiaraid app is completly wrkin now and hav added ina gearscore thing into general to see how peoples gear improves also at officer meeting it was decided that we will ask one or two people per week what they like about how guild is run and what needs changing and i will be adding more stuff to site as officers decide on it
